ECON 2030 (CECN 2113) - Economic Principles

Lec. 3; Cr. 3

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and theories of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.  Topics are covered such as demand, supply and price determination, elasticity, production, market structure, GDP (gross domestic product), business cycle, unemployment, economic growth, Fiscal and Monetary policy, Federal Reserve System, public finance and international trade. Credit will not be given for both this course and ECON 2000  and ECON 2010 .  A grade of “C” or better must be earned in this course to receive a degree or a certificate within the Division of Health Science and Business Technology.

Prerequisite(s): Must be eligible to enroll in   or MATH 1020 (CMAT 1213)  or  .
